Abstract



ABSTRACT
Financial inclusion is all effort purposing to eliminate the obstacles against the access of the society in utilizing financial services. After the implementation of inclusive financial strategy in Indonesia, especially in East Java Province the level of financial inclusion is better than Central Java Province, but is lower than West Java Province. The problem more lies on the bad perception of the savings product offered by commercial banks. The research aims (1) to understand financial literacy to improve the knowledge about financial aspect for small medium business; (2) to build a model of inclusive financial system for small medium business. The study is an explorative descriptive research trying to provide a description whether data or argument about financial inclusion in center of small industry in East Java Province. The method used in the research is training, in depth interview, and focus group discussion (FGD) with stakeholders. The research result concludes that (1) Most of small medium business produces endurable consumer goods, (2) The formation of small medium business is more through production process, (3) The level of financial literation of small medium business needs to be improved, and (4) The model development of inclusive finance through three phase. 1st phase is the phase to build the trust, 2nd phase is the certainty of that bank should provide the certainty of easy, not complicated, and proactive services against the demand of small medium business, and 3rd phase is education.
